Job Loss Support
Michelle's Story โ From Job Loss to Hope
Community Neighbor โ Job Loss Support
What Happened
Michelle, a neighbor in our community, lost her job and was going through a difficult time. Through our kindness outreach, we were able to provide support during her transition.
What We Did
- Reached out to Michelle when we heard about her job loss
- Provided a Job Loss Kindness Kit with essentials and encouragement
- Connected with her regularly to check in
- Showed her that her community cares
The Impact
- Michelle felt supported during a scary time
- She knew she wasn't alone
- Her story inspired OTHER neighbors to check on each other
- Created a ripple effect of community care

Senior Support
๐ต Linda's Story โ Direct Impact
Senior Support โ Adult Incontinence Supplies
What Happened
We posted on Nextdoor that we had adult diapers, wipes, and pads to donate. Got suggestions on places to donate... But then Linda responded.
What She Said
She shared how much she could USE them โ and how EXPENSIVE they are. This is a real need that many seniors face in silence.
What We're Doing
We're giving them DIRECTLY to Linda. No middleman. No organization. Just neighbor helping neighbor.
The Impact
- Linda gets what she needs NOW
- She feels seen and not forgotten
- We KNOW where the donation went
- Direct impact, visible result

Youth Legacy
๐ฑ Riley, Emmery & Miller โ Breaking Cycles
Youth Legacy Program
What Happened
We started teaching life skills and gardening to the nieces โ Riley (10), Emmery (young), and their friend Miller. The goal: build habits that last a lifetime.
What We Did
- Taught room organization: how to keep bedroom clean
- Life skills: dishwasher unloading, kitchen cleaning
- Provided organization supplies (shoe rack, purse hooks, backpack hooks)
- Started gardening basics
The Impact
Riley & Emmery: Now CHECK ON MILLER regularly. They reach out to see if she's upholding her commitments. Taking OWNERSHIP of the program. Teaching others = best way to learn.
Miller: Got so inspired she RECRUITED A FRIEND. Started teaching her friend the same skills. Ripple effect: kid teaching kid.
Riley: Also RECRUITED A FRIEND. Sharing what she learned with peers. Building a movement of young kindness ambassadors.
This is what we mean by "breaking generational curses" โ teaching kids skills their parents may not have learned.
